The GMC truck puttered down the long and empty street towards the pastry shop titled "Le Pain Ridicule". The chefs working glanced up and decided the only way to keep him out was to pretend they were closed for legal reasons.

The truck pulled up outside and slowed to a stop. His eyes flicked over the "Do not cross tape" pasted on the door. This was not acceptable. The maroon truck roared away and into the local forest. The man opened his door and stumbled out of truck dragging his homemade flag with him. This was the worst fourth of July he had ever been a part of.
