about this story

The view that was captured through the bus windows on the class field trip to the gallery was never once the same, but a constant delight, especially when I was in the perfect view of "The Sector Bride." Well It is not really called that, it reminds my of the pathway between sectors in The Hunger Games so I call them that. As we arrived at the gallery there was nothing holding me back I quickly exploded with speed racing against myself to the doorway. "johnny stop running!" My teacher belted without turning her head as if she new I was going to do it before I even knew I was going to do it, so being cooperative I gladly stopped, turned around, walked back to the bus and waited. As my class finally got up the staircase to the main lobby we all noticed a painting of a bird hanging from on the wall. It looked very cool. we were not allowed to walk over and take a closer look, since there was no free-time scheduled trip full of a lot of adventure. As I continued to walk through the gallery I started to notice the floor. It seems a little weird to notice something you walk on over an abundance of beautiful art surrounding me, but I couldn't help it, I absolutely loved the design so much that I wish I could wake up every morning to something like this in my bedroom every morning. After we spent a few hours looking at art by numerous artists it was time to go outside. My class and I walked on a pathway that flowed towards a river near the gallery. As we arrived I noticed that there was a tiny raft in the water. Quickly I realized that this appeared very random or "out of the blue", since there was no one around that put it there, just a raft, gliding on water. It looked very free with no real care while riding along the tiny waves that fit its own size appropriately. it was very calming as it just sailed with no exact destination. our walked for awhile more and ended at the destination for the class photo. We stopped at the exact place where Mrs. Manships Grade 4 class get their photo every year, so attendance was mandatory. We all hopped into the tree trunk turned to the assistant and waited. "one... Two... Three... Say CHEESE!" this was the best day of my life. A day which I will surely never forget.
