about this story

It was a dark, rainy night. My bowl was shaking and vibrating from all the ruckus outside. I'm set right on the window sill. I am in this fish tank all alone. My owners don't play with me. Do they even care about me? The only thing I think about is getting out of this bowl and escaping. When I look at the photograph on the wall of the outside world, I get mixed emotions. I don't know what I will get out of this bowl, or if one day they will just let me go. After supper, my family plays sudoku, and for the rest of the night I sit there. I watch the hour hand on the clock go around and around. Do they see I am not happy here? They don't even acknowledge that I am there. My owners work at the factory and they leave at 7 in the morning and come home around 3. When I'm alone here I think of ways I can get out. But none of them are even realistic. I'm only a fish, I can't walk, can't go anywhere without water. It;s impossible.
