Five Card Story: Frostleaf and the Lucky Charms!

I will never forget the time when I was a child and I was captured by a witch! Some people may doubt me, but I can recall very vividly the lush green leaves that surrounded me as I walked toward my grandmother's house. My grandmother lived deep in the woods and she told me that I should always be careful when I played outside near her house. She said that Bertha, the neighbor lady, was a witch. Grandma also said that I should never visit unless I had some protection.
That particular morning, I felt very brave. I ran into the woods to go visit my grandmother, but I was very surprised to happen upon a cat. But this was no ordinary cat. This cat was pure white. As white as snow. except for it's eyes, and it looked at me with flat black eyes. The cat ran away, and I thought I was safe, so I continued to my grandmother's house.
All of a sudden, Bertha appeared! She cackled, "My cat, Frostleaf, told me that you were trespassing! Now you will be punished!"
Thankfully, my grandmother told me to be prepared. So I pulled out my Lucky Charms! No witch could hurt a child who had Lucky Charms.
Except this witch. She seemed very excited to see me and my cereal! She cackled again and said, "I'm going to eat you, and your cereal, too!" Well, I dropped my Lucky Charms and ran all the way to my grandmother's house, but I still remember the slurping noise that Bertha made as she ate my Lucky Charms.
When I finished running, I worried that my grandmother would be angry with me for coming to visit her and nearly getting caught by Bertha. I couldn't face her, and I was so tired from running - so I took a short nap in the gazebo outside my grandmother's house.
I woke up to my grandmother gently stroking my hair and telling me how happy she was to see me. I was so relieved and happy, that I just held Grandma! I told her everything, about Frostleaf the cat, about Bertha, and about my missing Lucky Charms!
Grandma knew just what to do. She gave me a new and better sort of protection! My grandfather's military helmet! So, now I would never have to worry about that old witch again!
And we all lived happily ever after!
