Fall is my favorite time of year. This is the season that most awakens my senses. In the fall, I smell not roses, but color. That muted glory of things past that permeates the air. Yes, fall is for the senses. Leaves whisper their story. A drab cityscape is free to reflect the sun's gentle rays. This is the season where I drive, for no reason other than to see. Fall is everywhere. I can't recall a time where colors tasted as sweet. This is the season that most awakens my senses. The touch of gentle rain upon my face helps a fallen flower tell its tale. Fall is my favorite time of year.
