It seemed that it was just another drive home. Everyday I take the highway for ten miles and exit to pass the cobblestone apartments. Except today was different. Today was the day after a great celebration. As I was driving home I looked into the sky and saw a remainder of a balloon that was released from the previous night. This is our tradition-we light and release these balloons as we wish and hope upon the next step in our journey. I was going home to pick up my daughter as I reminisce on last night. I was hoping for a change in our life. To celebrate we indulged in our favorite pastries. Here is to our future.
