He decided to take her down to the dock for some fishing, but that wasn't the end of their tech-free adventure. After an amount of time passed -- who knew how long? -- they took hands and started wandering around. "A turtle!" he showed her, excitedly. She asked him questions, and he answered all of them, even if he had to make up a few of the answers. They kept walking. A spine of some sort; a gargoyle; more time passed. "Daddy, I'm ready to go home now," she said. "Me too," he replied, trying to remind himself to cherish the time they'd just spent together. "Me too."
