about this story
one day, as i drive home from work i pull into my long, hidden in the trees, gravel lined driveway it reminded me of road trip i had promised to myself and my wife. I had promised to go all over Washington. so we packed up and set out, but not before getting a map of were we need to go. the first place i took her is out to eat at a italian restaurant where we had croissant sandwich. the next place we went was a lake at the base of two beautiful snow caped mountains.we walked for a while but i had to sit down and enjoy the view. we sat right on the edge of the concrete. i thought, as we sat there in silence, this is the life for me. as we set out for home we came to a post it looked like it had to be ten years old, it had on it six signs pointing all in the same direction and that is home
