'Are you ready, Holand?'Dorles's voice came through the headphones on Holand's head.
Holand whispered into the speaker, 'Yes.'
'Good. The Black Cat is on your left. Hurry! Hit him with-'
Then the line went dead. Holand swore, then saw a sharp movement on her left. As fast as lightning. she lifted the bat over her head then swung down. There was a crack, then The Black Cat collapsed to the floor like a sack of bricks.'Sorry. There was a short circut. Did you get him? Is the ruby there?'
Holand held up a sack,dug around, then pulled out a huge ruby. 'Yup. He's down, and the ruby is here.'
'Good job, Holand!' Dorles said.
Picture 4, Paragraph 2
Once Holand returned to her bamboo house, she turned on her TV. She needed to check if there were any new mysteries that needed to be solved. Holand was a Teenager Detective, and so far she solved around 50 cases. She was much better than the police, the Goverment had to admit that. Suddenly, there was a bleep from her phone. The caller ID said 'Dorles'. Holand picked it up and said'hello, Dorles. Any new mysteries for me?' There was a laugh, then a voice.'Yes. Almost after you returned the ruby, it dissapered. Find it, quick.' Then she hung up.

Holand coulden't belive it. She had looked everywhere and interviewed almost everyone in her town, but no one had the ruby. WHY? Holand tried to think. The only suspect left was the Pet Store Owner. He was acting suspicious, but where could he hide the ruby? Then Holand had a thought. In the Turtle Shells!

The chase was ON! Holand weaved through the passengers in the airport. According to he pet owner's scheldule, he was going to go to China. Finally Holand
