about this story

I have so many memories as a child of simple things that seemed to create such an uncomplicated life, unlike our world today. I remember always looking for that four-leaf clover in the yard. There were so many patches in the yard that sometimes we could find more than one. I could spend an hour just looking. Then sometimes we would load up and drive to Grandma's house, which was always special because there was always fresh baked food. But it wasn't just the food that smelled good. She had so many flowers planted in her garden beds that you could always smell something clean and crisp. We stayed active at Grandmas - we didn't just eat! The park was just a short walk down the sidewalk, and we always walked down the street just a ways to play at the park. I don't think I miss being a child, but I miss those special memories just simply growing up.
