Early in the morning, just before dawn
Maria woke up, feeling very lost and confused
She made a split second decision to find herself again
She got on a plane and headed to England
She told no one she was going
She needed to be lost, to find herself once again
She headed to Stonehenge and wondered
About the beginning of everything, including herself
Maria went to a church, the beautiful walls full of art
They drew her in and swallowed her whole
She wandered about a small town
Thoughts bouncing from everything she saw
At the end of the day, she found herself in a field
As the sun went down over the hill
Maria remembered her thoughts from the start
She needed to be lost, to find herself once again.
