about this story
One rainy day there was a cat at a motel. This cat was a stray and had no owner. People had been disappearing all over the world. Everyday this cat walked the streets looking for food. As the cat walked around the motel it saw a man. He took liking to the cat immediately, happy to have a friend. They walked together down a deserted street and stumbled along finding a bike with a basket attached to the front. They walked to the beach. The waves were rough. All of a sudden something enormous emerged from the water. It was a giant purple camel with a house-like creature riding it. The man was terrified and hid. A bird flew past and the house creature shot a lazer out at it and the bird was gone. Everything finally made sense to the man. This was the reason everyone was disappearing. He realized that this cat would be his only friend, the closest he will ever get to humanity ever again. He was the last man on earth.
