The invitation on the card gave us the address but we were still surprised to hear that the concert would be in the cathedral hall. We were a somber audience, remembering that the music here was a way to heal from the tragedy of the last few days. It was with the first chord, and the first few strings, that we closed our eyes, and collectively held our breath. Many of us were crying, some more openly than others. The night ended in silence, in remembrance, and we all went home to find a way to make it through tomorrow, with the night's harmony singing in our heads.
