Five Card Story: Lost

about this story
Jules and her friends walks around in the forest, looking after wood for the campfire. She is in deep thoughts about what food she wants to cook for tonight, when suddenly she bumps into a tree. Jules looks around in confusion and is frightened to realize that her friends are nowhere to be found. Jules screams but can only hear her own voice echoing. The trees stares at her and the sky gets darker.
She runs as fast as she can desperately trying to find a way out of the forest. Suddenly she trips over a root and falls to the ground scraping her knees, almost starting to cry but as she raises her head she sees a bright light shining between the tall trees.
Silently, she walks towards the lights. As the lights become more visible she sees a tivoli. She is the only one there. As she walks through the tivoli, she spots a phone. A phone means she can call her friends to pick her up. She gets overwhelmed with happiness and starts running towards the phone. Luckily she finds a quarter in her pocket to make the phone work. She dials the number on her purple Kings Summer wristband.
