about this story

Another morning with crisp summer air blowing through the car window. She pulls into the parking garage earlier than most and can hear the squealing of the tires as she turns each corner to find her parking spot. As she passes through each level of the parking garage the sun peaks through the cracks and blinds her momentarily. She puts her car in park and sits there thinking of how she would rather have the scenery of nature. She dreams about looking out her window to view trees, mountains and beautiful landscaping. She dreams about hiking high into the mountains and peering down on where she works in the city. As she completes her day at work she knows one day a door will open for her to travel. Another day has passed and another day she hits the highway to home as the sun sets behind her.
