Over time, a brick came loose in a path and became a tripping hazard. Some city workers saw this hazard and put up a sign, but nobody took the sign seriously. One day, Sweet old Grandma Beth was walking along, looking for candy in her purse to give to her grandson, when she tripped over the brick and died from her injuries. When her grandson Tommy found out she was looking for candy to give to him, he went on a long walk to show his respects. Many people were touched by the story of Beth and Tommy, and the town fought to get the brick fixed. Eventually, a crane was brought in to fix the bricks and there was a moment of silence for Grandma Beth.
