Five Card Story: Scruffy and Shadow: Canine BFFs

Last Tuesday, little Scruffy ran outside, anticipating a fun day with his best doggy pal, Shadow. Much to Scruffy's confusion, Shadow wasn't in his usual spot waiting for Scruffy! Scruffy knew this wasn't like Shadow, so he set off in search of him. Running through the city centre, sniffing around their favourite trees, and even scouring a big open field, Scruffy searched and searched for his friend. Suddenly, an idea occurred to Scruffy. Maybe Shadow's human had forgotten to let him out to play! Scruffy bounded over to Shadow's house, where he found his loyal and apologetic canine friend waiting for him. A symphony of barking and howling eventually led to Shadow being let outside. Despite the silly human's mistake, Scruffy and Shadow ended up having a terrific, fun-filled day! The End.
