Het was een zonnige dag. Dat konden Pootje en Streepje zien aan de schaduw van het wasgoed. Zij vonden dat het mooi weer was voor een uitstap. Algauw vonden ze een lekker hapje, een muis! De muis bleek niet zo lekker te zijn, daarom moesten ze deze in de vuilnisbak gooien. Daarna namen ze een lift naar huis in de koffer van een dure wagen.
