about this story
The boy took out th box of crayons his grandfather gave him one month ago. He grabbed a sheet if paper and his warm coat and headed outside to the bluebonnet field near his home. He picked one and walked into the forest past the field. The sun shined through the thin branches and a cool breeze blew past the boy. He walked further until he reached a cemetery. He stopped at a small tombstone and sat next to it. He took out the sheet of paper, his box of crayons, and the bluebonnet he picked minutes ago. He drew the bluebonnet and gently placed the drawing and box of crayons next to the tombstone. He touched the tombstone and an image appeared in his mind. The boy was smiling and holding hands with his grandfather in the bluebonnet field. He took out a recording device and turned it on. It was black and white and a man with white hair was giving a speech. He was the mayor of the town and was offering a compromise to solve a problem with the city's sewage problem. He continued to watch the video and sighed when the video ended. He touched the tombstone one more time and walked back home.
