about this story

1. Curiosity
2. Loneliness
3. Realization
4. Music
5. Future

A song I think of that relates to each of these 5 pictures is "The Older I Get" by Skillet. This song comes to mind as the lyrics in the song say that there is much change in life that we have, going into various stages. I feel that each of these pictures represents a stage within my life, with the final one being my future.

As stated in the previous section, each of these pictures represents a stage in my life, which has a single commonality of that. The first picture shows a forest path, that I feel represents curiosity, and how I was as a young child. Secondly is the park bench, representing quite loneliness, as during my younger years while being home schooled, I didn't have many friends or know that many people. In the middle is a picture of a street with blurred edges. I feel this is similar to a cinematic shot of when a character wakes up from a dream and actually realizes what really exists. This represents the third stage of my life in how I myself found out what the world really is like. Fourth is the picture of two musicians; a trombone player, and a saxophone player. I have been involved in music since my childhood, but this stage is later because I have not developed a true passion for music until the current day, which represents the fourth stage. Finally, the man running on the city streets is what I imagine myself in the future. I see that the man is achieving greatness in life, while running forward is a future, and the dull background is seen as what is left behind. I envision this as my future, becoming the greatest person I can possibly be, while leaving behind my burdens of the past.
