En el norte del país, hace unos años atrás, vivía la familia Horna. Ellos tenían de mascota una pequeña ardilla llamada Richi.
A Richi le gustaba jugar entre las rosas que plantaba la familia. Un día mientras, se pinchó con una espina filuda provocando su muerte. La familia sufrió por este hecho y en el patio trasero, enterraron a la pequeña ardilla. Al padre de la familia le gustaba exhibir partes de sus animales muertos, haciendo lo mismo con la pequeña ardilla.
