I woke up at 7:00am got dressed, went down to the kitchen. Had my daily smoothie, dumped the glass in the sink and went outside. Ran down the path to the park. In the spring the park is like a garden shop. All the trees have flowers on them. The sound of the bees buzzing around me filled my ears as I slowly walked through the park. Beep, beep. Out of curiosity I creeped behind the trees. To my surprise there was a whole new block built with apartments that towered over me. I realised they had cut down half the park just to make this unit of brick. I started to cry inside, the reason being this was the last place I saw my mum before she ran off leaving me with no one to take care of me. I started to run back home crying. When I got back home I sat down on the front yard and looked out across the road to see the old yellow house abandoned just like me.
