Five Card Story: One Rose

about this story
One early day a a young girl who is about 13,saw she was getting a new neighbor next door. She looked outside her window to see how the neighbor looks. Right when she looked out the window her eyes met a familiar young boy about her age or just one year older.He was playing with her little brother. He then looked at her and wave his hand. She chuckles and wave her hand too. She decide to go meet up with him. By the time she goes outside he wasn't there. He disappear. She was about to leave when she looked down to only see a beautiful pink rose laid near her feet. She picks it up to only smell it. It was a lovely sweet smelled. The next day she walked out to play in the snow to only see another beautiful pink rose. She picks it up to only see a tail of beautiful pink roses. She follows the trails to which lead to the frost. By the time she reached a specific tree, she saw something she wished she haven't seen. She starts to cry and runs back home to her parents. As she runs in her parents sees her in such a rack. They question her,but all she did was shed tears. All the parents could do was hold her tight until she calmed down. Once she was able to calm down she told her parents what they saw. They quickly called the police station. They both were worried about their daughter. Once the police came they walked out to where she led them and there she saw the young boy who she realize was her best friend who they grew up with lying there life less. Heart broken even more than it already was. The policeman quickly covered his body. She couldn't hold it in any longer, she ran to her parents to embrace her and tell her it's okay. He is still with us and healthy but she knew he was gone. But what she didn't know was he loved her ever since they met.He kept the promise they both made but every since the day he went missing everything change.
