On a sad, gloomy day, there was a large golden retriever. He was lying at the door of a shop, waiting for his owner to get him back. He watched the beautiful sunrise, nobody to share it with. The pond lilies, splashed with beauty, the dangling trees, hanging fruit. Sighing, the poor dog realized it was hopeless for him, until a boy with his green turtle came to save the day. Raising his droopy head, the dog stared for a few seconds, and then let his head drop. That boy wouldn't want him. The boy ran over to the dog, and gasped. "Oh you poor thing!" Stripping off the muzzle, the boy took the heavy gold retriever home. A new life was about to begin.
