1) In the beginning shes looking into trees around her house and sees a young person but cant tell who it was
2,3 and 4) her grandmother is about to die and shes visiting her at her house with her mother. The room her grandmother is in is very dark.
5) This flower represents all the good that will happen in the book and how fragile her grandmother is.
