about this story

When she arrives at Himmel she is scared to get out of the car and meet her foster parents. The first night she is sleeping she dreams of the train where her brother die, this nightmare reappears every night. At the parade for Hitler, Liesel and Papa meet up a townsquare and she says she hates hitler and Papa slaps her. Later Liesel goes to the mayor's house and the mayor's wife lets her in to read the books and Liesel doesn't know what has happened and why the mayor's wife is struggling so much but she is just going with the flow.
