「媽媽！這些粉紅色的是什麼？」
「那些是花喔！」
「那花旁邊綠綠的是什麼？」
「那些是葉子喔！」
當我在列車上閉目養神的時候，聽見了鄰座的親子對話。我睜開眼睛，往半開的火車車窗外面看去，可惜沒能來得及瞥見那些象徵恢復生機的花花草草，只看見了無限延伸的軌道和不斷遠離的山林。
「現在跟你回來的時候不同，當時因為地震，不少樹木都因為走山連根拔起了。」
你的聲音在耳邊響起。我沒有回頭，依然望著窗外。
「災後重建的那陣子，天空都還是常常佈滿著烏雲。跟現在完全不同。」
你似乎是看見我沒有任何反應，又繼續講了下去。
「幸好，烏雲總是會離開，天空總是會放晴的。」
「但是你卻再也不會回來了。」我淡淡地說道。
倒塌的房屋會再建造，被破壞的樹林還會再生長，但有些東西逝去了就不會再回來了。
