It all started with a glass bottle of Coke. On the front steps of my porch, at the end of summer, the new kid across the street left a bottle of Coke, when he thought I wasn't looking. That one single moment changed mine forever. That one single gesture changed the course of my life. That year started off just like any normal year; school, homework, parties, repeat. Nothing significant until the new kid from next door showed up in my life. Looking back I knew he would be my best friend and he was, but I didn't know me would be my soulmate. From that day on we did everything together. We went on trips together for spring, winter, and summer break. He loved the beach and I loved the city. It wasn't until that year in my life that I knew he was my soulmate, but he apparently knew all along.
