about this story

"It all happened so fast. The ghetto. The deportation. The sealed cattle car. the fiery alter upon which the history of our people and the future of mankind were meant to be sacrificed. -Elie Weisel." Roses can be represented to anything. One specific thing I'd present a rose to is all the Jews. As it blooms, newborns become Jews and is passed down for many generations. However, the outcome of it was horrifying. Jews were sent to concentration camps. Within the concentration camps of Auschwitz-Birkenau, are rows of Barracks with small bunk beds next to each other. Many of these barracks didn't have many windows. In fact, the weather was humid. When the Jews arrived at the concentration camps, they were told to line up and put there belongings in a stack. After that, thousands of Jews lived in horrible conditions due to the concentration camps. There was not much food nor water and they also couldn't escape.
