about this story

If the world were a painted canvas, it would most definitely be covered with a rugged, worn out, multi layered, dark toned image, that represents all that has taken place upon its soil.
One event in particular that has left a major mark on a vast part of the world is World War 2. Children all over the globe*, had to fear for their lives at such a young and impressionable age. Not only that, but some lived under the rule of corrupt dictators, totalitarian leaders, who gave the youth no opinion in what they wanted to believe or not.
The Leaders gave citizens no privacy, and searched for any red flags*, signs that information or resources were being given to outside forces. If there was even a slight chance at that, the person being persecuted would immediately be killed.
Hitler rose to power to become the leader of the Nazi Party. The Nazis were a very dark and dangerous group, who would revolt against Jews. Ultimately, this led to the silencing of the Jews* during the war.
There was no cell phones back then.*
