The dagger lay on the bed taunting the angry Scot. He picked it up and approached the rickety gate to the guest house where his ungrateful cousin slept. He approached the cottage and, peering through the window, realized his cousin wasn't even there any more. The cousin, sorry for his behavior and him unpardonable actions, walked to the highest point of the ridge to contemplate his guilt and redemption. Serendipitously, they met at the cathedral, both wishing to confess their horrifying deeds.
