Nature once was alone on the planet. It was simple, beautiful, and everlasting. It could be as basic as a lonely cactus, or as complex as a star. That is, until humans came to be and evolved. They soon weren't happy with nature alone, and craved more. Their intelligence led them to create new inventions, and slowly destroy nature in order to achieve their goals. Thus led to the expansion of cities across the globe. Nature became harder and harder to find, worse than a needle in a haystack. But, one day, a flood occurred. No human had predicted it, so they had no time to prepare. Humans were wiped off the face of the Earth. The waters eventually receded, and nature returned to its lonely glory, as it once had been. Bees pollinated, fish patrolled the seas, dogs played fetch, and -
Wait. How are dogs playing fetch? There are no humans anymore, are there? If that's the case...
Who threw the stick?
I suppose nature works in strange ways, doesn't it?
