Five Card Story: Gulliver's Travels

about this story
Since he was 6 years old, our main character loved moving fast. he biked everywhere and loved the rush of traveling faster than his legs could carry him. When he turned 17, he had saved enough money to pick up a cheap motorcycle. He put so much time into his bike. Eventually he had earned enough money to get into muscle cars. This became his new passion, but at 24 a Navy recruiter came along and convinced him the military was the way to go. Our main character became a mechanic for the Navy. Without many of his superior knowing, the mechanic was able to make the navy vehicles very, very fast. He did this for two years until a high ranking general lost control of his vehicle and died. After investigation, it was found his car had way too much horsepower to be stock. Our character was dishonorably discharged and returned to his old home--Left with nothing.
