about this story

On Friday's after work, a couple enjoys going on a daily walk through their neighborhood. They begin by walking out their front door on a beautiful cobblestone sidewalk. As they cross the street and turn down the corner they come across the most peculiar sight. An old victorian chair is placed in front of a home. It reminds them of their grandparents cottage up North. They continue on their walk and the husband suggests they walk past their first house they lived in together. They have always been a fan of brick buildings. They notice the bike out front and remember fondly of the times they had biking around the neighborhood. As they are chatting about their old home, a construction worker approaches them. They chat briefly and share their story with him. He tells them that he lives not to far down the street and has always loved this area. They part ways and continue on their stroll. They come across a beautiful garden and marvel at the magnificent white flowers. The couple continues on and turns down a different street with steps leading up a hill. As the couple hikes the steps and reaches the top, they marvel at the setting sun and their beautiful neighborhood. They feel blessed and thankful to live in such an amazing area.
