about this story

It was my last day on the job. I simply couldn't take it anymore. The stress kept eating away at me, hearing those children screaming out in pain, asking for help. I couldn't do it. I quit. Instead, I took up studying, I wanted to give to the community, almost as a penance for my failure. I began to enjoy what I was doing, I saw things go wrong, but these things brought to light and hope into the world. I was finally at peace.
