Five Card Story: Ruthless

(1) bionicteaching - Ruth awakes from her concussion and finds herself in the back of a pickup truck. Once the driver stops and takes off her blindfold, she notices she is in the middle of nowhere. All that is ahead of her is a field and forest with no beginning or end.
(2) Intrepidteacher - After trying to picture exactly where she is, Ruth remembers what her dad and grandfather told her to do if she was ever kidnapped. Her family members' told her to run and never stop fighting, yet, she was abducted. Although Ruth lives in a small town, girls her age have been kidnapped. Her town was so small, most of the citizens' were farmers.
(3) bionicteaching - A while after arriving, Ruth tried to escape. She had come close to being raped. People often called her "Ruthless", it was know she had to demonstrate that. Ruth had to get home, she was not going to die here.
(4) bionicteaching - Ruth remembers what awaits once she makes it home. She is solely driven on making it home to her family, and to go back to her "normal" life. She cannot be like the other six girls, she will be the first one to survive this.
(5) bionicteaching - Ruth cannot let this man who tried to hurt her get away, she had to do something. The woods she once escaped, was now her territory. She held this man hostage, and came close to killing him with his own gun. But he got away and tried to kill Ruth. Before she knew it she was safe, the EMT were there to save her. She escaped the woods she once feared.
