People are in a hurry to gather around as the US president, Jimmy Carter, is set to sit down with Chinese leader, Deng Xiaoping, to settle things down. They began to speak as to how they can come to an agreement. The US want to take advantage of China so they get a closer relation to southern Vietnam, who they have allied because they are not communist. China and the US decide not to keep rivalry and have a diplomatic relationship between one another, which is managing a good relationship and being able to trade any materials. The consensus is made an China and the US are now allied countries.
