The young child screeched through the diner as he was in a hot pursuit of a tiny rodent. People jumped and ran out of his way as the mouse raced through the doors to the outside. Frustrated, the child put his hands up to the glass windows where the mouse was still visible, screaming and crying as he watched his toy scurry away forever. He turned back to the diner, and saw a strange man in an orange shirt looking his way. The man stood, and slowly approached the boy, gesturing for the boy to follow him. As they left the diner, the man told him of this magical place where he could find all the mice in the world. They approached an apartment complex, unit 2, street number 1723. As they walked up the stairwell, the boy filled with glee at the thought of seeing his mousy friend. His dreams were crushed as he walked in, and saw a man preforming horrible stand up comedy. His eyes welled up with tears as he bolted for the door, still in search for his rodent buddy.

His eyes welled up with tears as he bolted for the door, still in search for his rodent buddy.
