about this story

To a nature lover, beautiful mountain scenes inspire the soul. As I hike up the mountain path I look at the collective beauty created by simple things like tree roots as they spread, looking for nutrients. I finally make it to the cobble stone path marking my arrival near the top of the mountain. My feet leaving soft footfalls on the cobblestones as I enjoy all the plants and flowers along the path, as I round the corner the plants fall away bringing into view the mountain top temple in all its glory, what a long path of beauty to its queen.
