Five Card Story: Fish for dinner.

One day I was walking through a forest with my son Sam and our dog Spike, we wanted to find a lake to catch a few fish for dinner. As we went deeper and deeper into the forest we saw a lake, so we prepared our fishing rod and sat for a while until we had enough for dinner. We had about an hour there and we already had enough fish, so we decided it was time to leave. Already when we were about to leave, I see that Spike is very close to the lake, as if he were seeing something underwater, so I shouted at him to get close to prevent any animal from frightening him, but before giving me a chance to do so, a huge crocodile comes out of the water and almost catches him with its huge jaw. The three of us ran as fast as possible of the animal, normally a crocodile would not chase us that way but it seemed that he was determined to eat us all. We found an abandoned cabin not far from the lake, so we hid there waiting for the crocodile to leave. After a while I opened a door that led me to the garage where I hoped to find something to defend ourselves in case of an emergency, it was all dark and it had already been done at night. I didn't find anything useful, but I saw that there was a huge hole in the garage door, and in the distance I see the crocodile approaching where we were again. I ran and tried to close the door to prevent it from entering, but the blow that hit the door was so strong that I failed to close it in time. Sam, Spike and I ran upstairs, the crocodile tried to climb but I threw an old TV to prevent him from climbing the stairs. We saw a window and next to a tree, so I took Spike and dropped it, I knew he would have no problems in the fall, Sam grabbed my back and I went down as fast as I could from the tree. When we hit the ground, we all ran from there. Unfortunately, today there will be no fish for dinner.
