Autumn is the best season. It is the best time of the year because everything symbolizes new beginnings, such as the changing of the leaves and children starting a new school year. The positive energy in the air during this time opens new doors to opportunities, and generates time for celebration with family and friends. Despite fall being a happy time, the shift from warm to cold weather very commonly causes many people to spiral into a depression. Seasonal affective disorder is fairly common, affecting roughly 10 million Americans. Overall, autumn is the best time of the year due to the radiating warmth and hope of new beginnings.
