about this story

One gloomy day, the kind of day that reminds Carl (the man that lost his son, due to a car accident that happened in this terrible weather) about his tragedy. He later on that day goes to the graveyard where his beloved son Christian rests in peace. The next few days have been very hard on Carl as he remembers that its one year ago that he lost his boy. Carl thinks about all the memories hes had with his son. they would always take sunset walks to make them realize how lucky they're to be fortunate and be able to live in a beautiful environment. Every summer they would go down to their favorite cabin with all their family, the first thing they would do when they got to the cabin is go down to the lake and jump off the cliff so they wouldn't have any doubts about going into the water if it was cold. They loved going to their cabin for at least a week because they loved the scenery of the natural beauty in life, all the varieties of flowers that were in the bush. By the time they got back home from the cabin they found out that their place was broken into, leaving them dry on food and money for awhile and had antiques worth thousands of dollars that was stolen. Carl couldn't help but look back at all the things him and his son have experienced together.
