As we break from another semester and close out another academic year, several questions loom about our COVID-19 New Normal. I personally long for my college football Saturdays, where I represent my Orange & Blue. To be among cheering fans, sharing the traditions we hold true.

Will our lecture halls be filled with eager young minds to mold. Will our vibrant campus life return, or are these the days of old?

Mother nature has found her rebirth, where blue skies and clean air has returned. The flowers are blooming brightly, as our planet has finally caught its breath. Did it take such a drastic measure to realize our negative impact? Or will our New Normal forever remind us of these facts?

I took for granted the opportunity to hug, to shake a hand, or draw loved ones close. To have the physical connection means so much more now than before. We don't know what lies ahead, but I hope we each stay healthy and safe. Our COVID-19 New Normal will soon become commonplace.
