Five Card Story: Sneakers boy

There was a boy who really liked walking and running. The boy's goal was to become a national player as a sprinter, and now he was a sprinter in his high school. However, the boy was running every day, and his sneakers were almost worn out. He wanted to have new sneakers, but he couldn't. The reason is that he had no parents. Because of that, there were many things I had to give up so far, and he had to get what others could easily get. But thanks to that, He lived harder.
Then one day, when he was walking on a tree-lined path, he found a kitten lying under the stone. He removed the stone to save the cat, and the kitten ran into the boy's arms and licked his face. It's like saying thank you. As soon as he showed a proud smile, the cat ran off the road. The boy was so cute that he ran along the cat as if he had been carried away. Wear worn-out sneakers. How long he followed, and when he woke up, he suddenly entered a deep forest with a cat. Surprised, he wandered around, and there was a large castle-like building in the distance. The question of why this building is in the forest was gorgeous enough to go. He went into the building again, seemingly possessed by something, and the cat had already disappeared. The boy said, "Who's there?" And walked around the building. But in the room on the far right, it sparkled and glowed, and when he entered the room, there was a table. He picked up the box and exploded the dust, so it was written on the box. 'To a boy in need of sneakers' The boy immediately opened the box, in which there was a pair of stylish sneakers. The boy put on his sneakers with his eyes wide open in amazement and, surprisingly, fit him. Like those new sneakers, I liked it, and there was something written on it, and when I looked up, the boy was surprised. "Your Mom" The sneakers were a gift from the boy's mom.
So what was the identity of the cat? Was it the boy's mother's soul?
