This pandemic has thrust educators into the world of digital learning and online education at hyperspeed.
Even though we live in a world where technology is at our fingertips and is embedded in our daily lives, the thought of virtual classrooms and libraries for the unseen future feels a bit like being lost in the woods.
As we spend time learning and exploring, educators will remember these are tools we've used for years. Start with the basics and build from there.
Students and teachers will need a lot of care. It is easy to get overwhelmed or feel disconnected, so we all need to be mindful of that when planning lessons and online experiences.
Eventually, we'll get to a place where learning online is fun and engaging again. The fear and worry will subside, and the adventure and excitement of learning in a new environment will take the lead.
