about this story

Hal received a letter of acceptance from his dream school in front of his yard. At the school he had the time of his life and made new friends. They biked all the time. Then Hal decided to steal a motorcycle and ride it around. Soon after he got into an accident and turned up brain dead. So he is no longer able to walk up the steps on his usual route to school.
