David Hume was a scottish Enlightenment philosopher historian economish, librarian and essayish who is best known today for his highly influential system of philosopical emprinicism, skepticism.
He was born in 1711 to a moderately wealthy family Berwickshire Scotland, near Edinburgh. As a child he faithfully attended the local church of Scotland, pastored by his uncle.
David Hume is one of the most important figures of western philosophy but we also made important contributions to the history and literature.
David Hume attempt to formulate a full fledged philosopical system. It is divided into three books. One of his work is "Of the Understanding" discusses in origin ideas. The idea of space and time.
The 18th century writer David Hume is one of the worlds great philosopical voices because he hit upon a key fact about human nature. That we are more influenced by our feelings than by reason.
