about this story

Patricia Smith Churchland is a Canadian-American analytic philosopher noted for her contributions to neurophilosophy and the philosophy of mind. She was born on July 16, 1948. Her life didn't start successfully as we thought it was, Churchland parents were both lacked in high school education. In spite of their limited education, they're still eager to attend Churchland in College and they still managed to send Churchland in a University.

As time goes by, Churchland achieved her dream across the long bridge and as deep as the sea of the challenges he faced in life. She also believes that life is like a river, You have to go along with the wave of life's challenges until you succeed. In spite of those challenges, Patricia Smith Churchland become a UC President's Professor of Philosophy Emerita at the University of California, San Diego, where she has taught since 1984. She also wrote many books, and many people admire her a lot and recognized her work as part of science and considered her as a great philosopher.

I chose those pictures because it reminds me of Patricia Smith Churchland's experience in life, that no matter what kind of challenges or difficulties or painful situations you go through in your life, we all have something deep within us that we can reach down and find the inner strength to get through them.
