Gilbert Ryle was a British philosopher, After he graduated in 1924, he was appointed to a lectureship in Philosophy at Christ Church College and a year later he became a fellow and tutor. Ryle released a book titled The Concept Map(1949), it is considered a modern classic. Among with his other well-known books such as Philosophical Arguments (1945), A Rational Animal (1962), Plato’s Progress (1966), and The Thinking of Thoughts (1968). He believed that self comes from behavior.
