about this story
(1st) When I was about 6 to 13 years old, I was really “kikay” that’s why I joined pageants several times. I am known as kind, sweet, intelligent, a leader and an influencer in our barangay. I was really active in joining pageants, and school competitions during my elementary days. (2nd) I grew up in Davao in my grandparent’s arms. But at the age of 8, I and my twin sister joined our mother here in Luzon. At 15, my grandfather stayed with us because he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. (3rd) By that time, I didn’t know how to handle things. I didn’t know how to manage my time in school, home and personal issues. I was lost. And it affects how I present myself and how I communicate to others. (5th) Months after, my grandfather died. I don’t know how I will express myself and how to put into words how heartbroken I am. Up to present, I am now working on how to handle myself better. (4th) I am now ready to welcome every opportunity, new life lessons, and people in my life. I am now prepared to fully accept my flaws, and love myself.
